Board Meeting Highlights from March 3, 2008

A motion was made to donate $500.00 to the Junior Achievement of Bellaire. Shanty Creek will match our donation.

The cost of the day buoys at the Beach Club will be increased from $10.00 to $12.00 and the cost of the boat slips will be increased by $30.00.

New rope lights will be put in where needed at our subdivision entrances.

The Long Range Planning Committee will work to develop a questionnaire to send out to SVA property owners regarding future projects for our area.

Board Meeting Highlights from February 4, 2008

There was a discussion regarding the area on North Crossover where the bridge had been removed. It is necessary to remove the present structure on the road and to cut back the sides This has become an unsafe area. A meeting will be held with Shanty Creek to see if they will be involved in the repairs.

Ribbons will be placed on the trees on Forest Trail that are to be removed. A two week notice will be sent to the property owners on Forest Trail before any cutting is done.

Interviewing for jobs at the Beach Club has begun. We are attempting to hire two people for supervisory positions in addition to the other employees.

Board Meeting Highlights from January 7, 2008

There will be an earlier placement of liens on SVA property where there has been non-payment of annual dues.

There was a discussion regarding the Oil and Gas Leases on Summit Village property. We have placed a letter on the web site to make it easier for property owners to make a decision.

The Three Village Christmas Party was a huge success. The calendar for the year has been set. Please check the web site for dates of events. Mark your calendar for the SVA Annual Meeting and Dinner Dance on September 13, 2008.

Board Meeting Highlights from November, 2007

All trees to be cut down in the spring on the roadsides will be ribboned.

Liens will be put on properties that have not paid their dues within 90 days.

A contribution will be made to the White Pine Stampede Cross Country Race.

Interviewing for 2008 employees at the Beach Club has been started and will continue after the first of the year.

Board Meeting Highlights from October, 2007

A variance was given to use cement board siding on a home in Summit Village.

This product will also be used on the Points West Condominiums.

The Village Voice will only be sent to property owners in the spring.

A President's letter will be sent out in the fall.

There is a letter being sent to all area realtors regarding only allowing one for sale sign on a property.

Real Estate signs are only allowed in certain areas of Summit Village.

Board Meeting Highlights from August 6th, 2007

Three fans will be installed in the three peaks in the Beach Club clubhouse. This will make the clubhouse more tolerable during the hot summer days.

An estimate will be obtained regarding taking care of the bridge area by Crosswinds.

The Parking lot at the Beach Club will be restriped in the spring of 2008. There will be an ongoing trimming of trees that are overhanging the roads.
